Not buying it, that's a lame excuse, and if you let it control the narrative, it becomes reality. My parents are 89 and 90 and have zero problem navigating their smartphones, Dad's tablet, and the desktop PC.
Totally missing the point. I've been an IT guy since 1974. My parents do it themselves, they don't call me except with really esoteric Firefox and Android questions. "I'm old, I'm too stupid to do this" is how people have put themselves down and turned it into self-fulfuiling statements my entire life. And it's bunk. Short of opening the case and playing with wires there is almost nothing you can casually do to damage a computer or phone. If you have a photo, drag it from the folder into the box where you type this message. Give it a few secs and some weird text will appear, that is the internal code to post the image. Click "More Options..." and "preview".
You are an idiot. I'm not ragging on the old. I'm pointing at my own parents who are quite skilled with their cell phones, tablet, and PC, despite being born well before the transistor was invented. And I'm saying that the difference is being willing to try things, and then asking for help versus saying I'm old and giving up.
OK Mr. Tech Man; I've got the pics on my phone, how do I get them to Coin Talk? It says it's an Apple XR?
LOL (which I'm sure you are) how do you drag and drop? I'm looking at the photo on my phone as we speak, what do I do next??
I had to try it myself since I never I use my phone for this stuff. Click on Upload a File in the reply section then pick your photo gallery or one of the other options. I don’t think there is a drag and drop on a phone, not on my Apple 15 at least. (PS - I'm old)
