Yes! My family and friends in Puerto Rico are all doing fine. Ernesto was just a tropical storm when it hit PR. Some damaged vegetation and the lights went out for a day or two. My wife and I are heading back in about 3 weeks to start renovations on our family home. I just hope that there are no other crazy weather issues from now until then! Thanks for inquiring
Glad to hear your family is doing well from the tropical storm. Another good haul but that glass marble must have metal in it. LOL.
Hehe.. My 3rd marble found in 3 outings. I usually eyeball them or they pop out of the dirt when searching for the coins
Paddy, I would bet that finding a 2¢ piece metal detecting is damn near as rare as finding a gold coin...or, at the very least, a gold ring. (You'd probably prefer the gold) However, In all my years of detecting and being a member of one of Houston's largest MD clubs I never once heard of anyone digging a 2-center, much less finding 2 of them! Kudos, J.T.
Thanks Here is the CoinTalk link and a video when I found the first one on December 31st, 2022 - Metal Detecting - Last Hunt of 2022 - 3 SILVERS & 2 CENTS! | Coin Talk 1st 2 CENTS
Nice finds, Again! I bet that 2 center is an 1864 small motto. No biggie! LOL. Here's the one I found. I use olive oil/ a toothpick over a period of days.
