Either that, or FDR has gone to a hair transplant surgeon and he picked up the wrong Sharpie.:hilarious::hilarious:

The front side is dark almost like a black tint and theback side is light a very dull silver like color.

Hi again Scuba, Just wanted to clarify that the Lincoln is a 1985 and I recalled today something I read in the Red Book, page 100, about some problems in 1982-83 with "copper-coated zinc planchets intruduced in 1982 that cause all kinds of problems"....I am quoting what I read in the Red Book. I just thought it could have been a possibility of some of the planchets were missed and went into production. Just a thought, since we know that anything can go wrong and undetected for years. There are some areas in the Lincoln that are missing and I don't think it is due to acid or corrosion. Whats also interesting is the thickness of the exposed copper plating.

@V. Kurt Bellman was just kidding you. He has often been known to tell the farce, the whole farce and nothing but the farce.

By the way, the front of a coin is called the obverse and the back is called the reverse.
