Of course I could spell out that no, we don't get anything "out of it". Anyway, as you wrote yourself - Doug says they don't break his rules. We should indeed respect that.

You already did. You clarified that you were referring to Truble's post. Much appreciated; thank you.

Just because one dude suggested you may "get something out of it" doesn't mean the rest of us feel the same, and I would like to think this goes without saying.

That said, short the few obvious posters, I think most do respect it. However, respecting his choice to allow them doesn't mean a blind eye should be turned towards the nonsense and now clearly intentional misinformation contained within. Unfortunately, whereas one can directly counter it when posted normally as part of a discussion/thread, when contained in a video posted by someone who couldn't care less about actually participating, it's not so easy a task. Something tells me you know as well as I do that this forum is used by, either by participating or simple lurking, a fairly large number of newer (to this hobby) individuals, and it's not outside the realm of possibility that such a person, seeing that his nonsense is allowed to stand on a coin forum, will interpret it as being factual and trustworthy. The greater good demands that something be said to warn against such a regrettable assumption, and to his credit, has been thus far allowed. One can only hope that it continues as such.

Come on, now... let's be fair here. He's even admitted its an old 323 with over 200k on the odo. One could work a minimum wage summer job and fairly easily buy one by actually saving it up over those few months. It's an entry level near econo model, likely anywhere from 15 to 20 years old. Nothing wrong with this, especially for a kid his age (assuming his YouTube claim of 16 and not forum claim of 38) as long as he keeps up on maintenance, doesn't allow little problems to turn into big ones, and keeps some scratch on hand to do so.
