Parking Lot quarters are the best. How’d that happen?

    I think I got a 1910 and a 1919. But I got all of the 1919s. Glad for you

Let me see if I can get a better picture. The coin doesn't look as bad as the picture portrays.

Clearer, but both sides have the snow effect going on for me. These photos give the appearance of bead blasted surface, like a coin that spent time on a beach.

The actual color is a darkish gray, kinda like it's tarnished. You know how silver looks dark when it needs to be polished...looks like that.

Used to be a lot more common, but as Canada hasn't minted any pennies since 2012 they're certainly a lot less common than they used to be.

Interesting pickup the other day. Not much value over face but still neat -

Fun when a proof shows up in your change. My first proof from my change was a state quarter.

    Fun finds!

It's rare but I have found a few... to date have found in circulation a 1973-S proof nickel, 1976-S proof quarter, a 1971-S proof Kennedy half, and already mentioned the Northern Marianas quarter I just found. I also found a 1986-S proof nickel doing roll hunting. Keep your eyes open!
