It's a shame this is damaged, such low mintage. My mother said she bought this at a gun show in the north east for spot.
Recently picked this up to replace my '87 for my toned set. The toning is really beautiful in hand and it really has excellent luster.
Newest acquisition. Bought this sight unseen as an add on to a different Morgan. Had no idea it was in this holder!
This one is going to PCGS or NGC soon. Not sure which. Used to be a 64PL OGH. I think it's better than that.
Today I was going through my safety deposit box and discovered this . I totally forgot I had this in there. I might of posted this coin a while back.
You may have been wrong at some point in your life, but this is not that point. It'd Green Bean at 65.
As promised, my own pic's, if Justin happens to see this..... Justin buddy, I have more work for ya 1884-O Proof Like
Acetone, stat. If not tonight thn tomorrow. I see two spots which look very much like PVC, on a line between the ear and 5th right star, and the bottom of the eagle's left (viewer's right) wing. Makes me wonder what else will come off the surfaces in acetone.... Look what your thumb does on the obverse, even thru haze....
Just a FYI to all.... The spot in LAR in DOLLAR on the reverse is a imperfection on my camera lens, not on the coin.
Dave is saying that you have pvc that needs to come off and the acetone might also remove the haze if it is pvc as well possibly revealing PL mirrors
