Do I have the right VAM??

    I didn't buy this on eBay. It's from my junk drawer of stuff I've had for years. Why do people assume every raw coin comes from eBay??

    Because most "junk" does. BTW, I am not saying your coin is junk. It is cool and you are lucky to have it.

    I'm not lucky to have it. It's junk, it's fake, and I want to sell it.

    At least send it to one of the great photo specialists here, like @jtlee321, to document and post. Would be cool to have an ongoing thread for us when stuff like this is found.

    I'm assuming you acquired this specimen quite a while back? It's a good learning tool. If it were mine, I'd find a local plastic company and have it encased in clear plastic and make it a reminder to leave on your desk. Have an inscription that says's something like... "Every mistake is not a failure, but an opportunity to learn. If you don't learn from your mistake, then it's a failure." Then you can have something as a reminder when your on eBay. I do this all the time, I keep reminders on my desk in front of me.
