Roll-searchers, post your results!

Picked up $100 in CWR nickels from a bank on my way home from work. This was every nickel they had, and there is a good variety of wrappers, which is typically a good sign.

I looked through $20 worth and found 3, 99% nickel CDNs, and 2 dimes ...I'll try and make time to look through the rest over the next few days.

I don't know why I like the font of the "5" on a 1965 JFK half as much as I do, but I could look at it all day...Grats on the finds!

You found 3 of what? Lately, I've been finding lots of dimes in CWR of cents.

 

3 Canadian nickels older than 1982, which are composed of 99.9% nickel for the metal hoarders out there.

 

Here are the other non silver Halfs, sorry it was a 82 and 83s and a 76s. I know the Goldie is strange I kinda think they are interesting, have found a dozen or so of them over the last few months, first one with Santa

 

yesterday I had a terrible penny hunt. all I found was 3 canadiens and about 10 wheats.

 

3rd box of halves this week. first 2 were skunks but I got a nice surprise in the 3rd.

1 90% 2006 Silver Kennedy proof
2 90% 64 Kennedy's
2 40% 66's

I can't upload the pictures for some reason, I had a 66 ender too. Will upload tonight.

Question: The 2006 Silver Proof is scratched up. I just want to treat it as bullion. Will a dealer pay the same as if it were a 64?

 

I'd think so. Neither coin has any numismatic value over their intrinsic value if I'm not mistaken

 

That's bad? If you searched through only one box thats a reasonable box. Better than what I get.

 

Around hear I usually get about 20-30 Wheaties.

 

My average for the past 3 or so years is 15 to 16 per box. Same for my Dad up in NH.

Most I've had in a box was 87. Least 3.

Well... not counting those full boxes of uncirculated coins we get every now and then.

Bummer today. Picked up two boxes today. This is the first time this has happened with Loomis boxes. I notice they were different, taped shut, instead of glue sealed. I suspected exactly what I found, all presearched. Last person just returned the box taped, and was circulated back through Loomis. Broke the, all down and put them throught the coin machine at my credit Union. Skunks of a different kind today. Tomorrow three boxes, hope the rolls are virgins.
