Ok I seem to have issues with the iPhone 11S taking pictures of lustrous silver coins and did badly on the first go-round on this one. Another thing I’ve noticed is what appear to be marks are often not seen on the in-hand coin. This appears to be a superior coin that I will drop off in the Fall at PCGS.
Anyway, some ways back got this in a European sale:

You're only as young as you think you are. I always like the "Mercs" also as a youngster...

"Superior" looks like an understatement from these shots! I'm seeing FB, and I'm not seeing luster breaks, at least from these shots...

Yes, in hand it is really scintillating. I looked hard for hairlines or marks under magnification and all sorts of light. This is one of those coins on a steep incline with increased grades - therefore PCGS is where it will go. I also was able to get a bunch of Mercury dimes with "S" mintmarks - 1892-1905. Really nice & will have to see how at least some of them do.
I also got the 1872 S half dollar and the 1905 O quarter raw that graded MS63 and MS64 at PCGS...

I think you mean Barber dimes. Got any pics? There are some interesting transition varieties from 1899-1905.

Yes, I did mean Barbers, and was distracted by family wanting to get out today....Some were cleaned and others actually really nice PL surfaces.
