LOL, Since I know you talk to folks in FLORIDA all the time, I am not EVEN going to rub it in about our North Carolina weather... WE are only having a temp of 24 here!

    My bad ... I grew-up with Fahrenheit

It has taken me 20 years to get used to saying "Celsius" (so centigrade threw me for a sec) ... you rock, Gandalf

Oh, but then I realized that you were merely bragging about your sweet summer temperatures, so I figured, f-him!!

    ;)

Sorry, I don't have any medieval coins, YET!
This is a great thread! What a handsome group of gentlemen and fine ladies you are! And youthful!!! Collecting ancients can keep you young I guess. Anyway, all I have to post is a selfie of myself and my newest ancients.

    You're 62 years old?

... did you slab your face as well? (plastic surgery?)

Hey, I don't usually say this to another fella (especially a man of the cloth), but you look marvelous!!

Thank you, your very kind! I still get carded when I go to saloons occasionally with family (I don't drink. I'm the designated driver). Yes, I have my grandfathers head of hair. My brother has my dads hair which is no hair---he's bald. :)

With my wife coming from the north, and myself from the mountains in the west, we're still shocked we can walk around in t-shirts in NC into November... Actually enjoyed a nice day at the zoo today

Cool to see some more pics posted here! Here's some of me and mrs. chrsmat71 and a place called angel mounds this summer. it's in Evansville Indiana, I live about 100 miles form there. it's kind of interesting that you can visit a "medieval" settlement in southern Indiana. I guess this place was occupied in starting in the 12the century. here's the sign...

Over here in Europe we simply say "degrees", "Grad", etc. for that ° doo-dad. I mean, what other degrees are there, temperature wise? ;)

Had 22 to 24 in Paris on Saturday and Sunday. No jacket required outside. Well, here at home and today it is ... nothing to write home about.

I more than agree guys... However, the US still uses an antiquated system called Fahrenheit that creates different reference points for any type of measurements. Besides, North Americans have such a HUGE difference in temperatures across the Continent. Personally, when I lived in Europe, I found that Europe does not have the extremes in weather as we have in North America. :) It was nice to know that you would not have hugh T-storms, Tornados, Hurricanes, El Ninos, etc. on the frequency that we "enjoy". :)

Woah, you look different than I imagined. I don't know why, but I always figured you to be the type who rocked a cool moustache. Don't know why, I just did.:p

I had one up until last week. It comes and goes. My wife prefers me with a moustache because without it she thinks I look younger than her! LOL! :)
