OK, so I mistakenly bid on an e-bay item I don't want and it turns out I might win it. I try and send a message to the seller (there are other bidders) and I get this... "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately due to the high volume of messages this seller receives, they are unable to respond to your specific question right now. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing." Any way to get out of this?
I've done the same thing......message the seller again. They're usually reasonable. Also explore retracting a bid on ebay.......tell 'em you made a mistake in bidding because your dog ate your homework. (devil)
Some sellers turn off the option to message them. This appears to be the case here so you have no way of sending them a message. There is a bid retraction option on eBay (see link below). https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/bidding/retracting-bid?id=4013
Hopefully a last minute bid will take it. You could tray and contact eBay to have your bid removed. Of course you can always just not pay for it.
I'm just curious what it was and how much? Can't he just sell it afterwards? I bought the wrong car once.
Not a bad price, but I already have one and don't want two...BTW, saved by the bell, someone outbid me.
