I picked this one up the other day, I don't see any red flags. What's your opinion?

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Are you asking counterfeit or not?

I don't see anything that points towards counterfeit.

Thanks, I was wondering on that aspect. I had checked it against some true views. I usually don't buy commemoratives raw.

    Any thoughts on grade?

Been toying with the idea of putting together a set of 'Boones'. Can't decide on grade yet. Future project on the back burner.......:)

Are you referring to the Boone half dollars I think they started in 1934 and went until '38 or '39.

I don’t see any reason this one wouldn’t go gem or better. Very nice!

Thats a pricey set, even in MS64 some of the later years are auctioning for over 400.
    The 35/34's are even more.

I also like very much the Westward Journey half dollars. Trouble is I think they also are pretty pricey.

I know, but time will tell. I've always liked Boone as an historical figure and the Shawnee nation......
