Right! I found 1916 last month as well, so now I just need S to complete the PDS set

I'd discuss it with her. It would be a good hobby to share, so if you feel that going that route would keep her more invested go for it. Obviously you gotta weigh the pros and cons as well, I know you got back in to CRH in part to keep your DCA down, so it may affect that a little. Let us know what you do either way. Happy hunting!

Yeah, it would be a great hobby to share together. She's an awesome gal and the more things we share together the better the relationship will go. I'm thinking tomorrow would be good to share and after that individual.

    Congratulations on the 16-D!!!

Ugh on the nickel. It makes me SO ANGRY to see defaced coins. Especially those stupid NRA nickels. I had a box last year that was literally half NRA stamped nickels. They're still filtering through my area.

If I knew who was doing it, I'd report them to the cops. Defacing US currency is illegal. :-/

Best thing you can do is throw it in a jar and take it out of circulation, although that'll cost you a whole five cents at your next dump.

Bmann, if you look at your CRHing plan with your girlfriend in a philosophical manner, you're laying the groundwork for how you manage finances IF your girlfriend becomes your wife...interesting how CRHing plays into one's life.

Yeah, it might be interesting, I just want her to get something though. She's been getting skunked and found nothing yet. So I am giving her a 90% and a 40%. That's nothing compared to how much I spend on her going out and other gifts. But there is something weird about how attached I am to my CRH Silver. It's harder for me to give her that than blow $120 on a night out on the town.

If you're going through your boxes together, I think you have to split it 50/50. If she gets all skunks and you're next to her building a pile of silver, you can't really just tell her "screw off, it's mine."

Good point, if it goes the other way around, and she's stacking a pile then I'll let her keep it. Gotta treat my gal well...

Reminds me of some great advice I got just barely. If you have $100 for new shoes you don't split it 50/50. You give the wife $75 and keep $25 for yourself. Sometimes you have to be unbalanced to be balanced.

    Happy wife = happy life

I'm preparing to buy 10 boxes of halves at one time in a couple weeks, so keeping my wife happy is a top priority given we share our finances 50/50

Yesterday was a very good day all the way around... my Dodgers won, and I found 2 40% Halves, and a 76-S in $200 of MWR, along with 2 War Nickels in 25 rolls which included the elusive 1943-D. I now only need the 1950-D to complete my CRH Jefferson set! :)

I talked to her about it last night. She wants to go "finders keepers", which is what I wanted too. I am procuring boxes for her and I gave her a 90% and a 40% to start her stacks.

Box of Halves: 1 64 Kennedy.

The reverse on this 64 was so BU that it looked like a 1999 D that I always pull. It was an reverse ender but due to the condition I didn't realize it until I opened the roll. The Obverse did not look as good.
