    image.jpeg hi I'm new in these forums and created my account just for this quarter. I have this 1971-P quarter it looks to be a nickel with copper quarter it has a strange dent on it that is obviously from the mint it also appears to have some sort of light scratch that looks like it's from the mint as well while looking at it with a glass it appears to have 2 flakes of nickel poking out that look like something was dragged on there and the (in) of in God we trust are fused and moving to the backside I see dents and minor age scratches it seems to have close AM because the A and the m are connected the un in United are connected aswell

    Obviously it did not happen at the Mint. 45 year old circulated Quarter :yack:

    CAM - Close AM and WAM - Wide AM are terms only used for Lincoln Cents.. not Quarters

    Ah thanks I assumed its from the mint because it's a big arrow head looking dent that messes up the T
