    I haven't bought any new Punic coins in a long time although there are a few more on the ol' wish list.

    Guess I'll show the Peanut Butter Cup 15-shekel for the zillionth time :D

    AE 12 mm, 1.9 gm
    Obv.: head of Tanit left
    Rev.: crested helmet left

    Obv: laureate male head left (Herakles? Hannibal?); club over far shoulder
    Rev: Elephant walking right.

    @Alegandron yes, could be a Dishekel , but Künker calls it a Shekel , the ones I looked at, are simply called AE 30 AE 31 , this one is 32mm and weighs 16 gram.

    Heres my Carthago coin cabinet , on top is a Siculo Punic statue replica 1 : 1 Original (400 BC) was found in Elche Spain in 1897, she was a high priestess , her ash was inside the statue ,now commonly known as the Lady of Elche.

    What a great bust and cabinet! Very nice! I really like that and would have in my home too.
