GTG - 1869 Spain 2 Pesetas

    Can you guess the grade for this 1869 Spain 2 Pesetas?

    It's a "lower" grade coin, as many of the high points are worn.

    But, the details are sharp.

    By US standards, it's probably a borderline VF/EF, depending on if there is any luster hiding in the corners.

    I am a bit concerned by what appears to be green spots and a hazy appearance. Have you given this an acetone bath?

    No acetone bath, and you're probably right - that green residue is an issue, probably from its holder. I'm thinking VF-30 or a little higher, too; but I hope it'll reach XF status (which would be nice).
