1 Dollar Sacagawea Coins from Post office

    I definitely knew that they didn't contain gold. But, wondered if they appeal to collectors trying to complete a set. Probably, the latter; but seems more trouble than its worth to sell them. (Although, I always need $ for my self-funded animal sanctuary.)

    The value is really hard to determine from eBay (which is often cited by coin folks to determine value) because there are ones sold and selling for hundreds-to-thousands -- w/o errors or even exceptional grades. I wouldn't want to accidentally rip anyone off in selling what I have. I also don't want to hang onto them.

    (There was a 1964 Kennedy half in the $10 Half(s) roll. Maybe that could fetch a couple extra bucks.)

    A 1964 Kennedy Half is 90% silver so it commands a premium. Condition is everything. I built a presidential, a Sacajawea and a Native American set from scratch and the cost was extremely low. Just no value in them and not a lot of popularity either.
