I'm not certain, I'm not an expert in this area. But I would just call it a lamination. As far as I know there are laminations which have not detached or folded or rolled up, detached laminations where the metal has physically been removed and is no longer present, and attached de-laminations where the metal has rolled or folded up off the surface of the coin yet is still attached to the host coin.

That is true. But what I posted is my best guess as I don't know all the terminology either. LOL

I like the broadstrike. Cuds arent really something that gets my blood pumping though, but still neat

Errors aren't really my thing, but they are definitely among the nicer I have seen.

 

Eh just never been a fan of cuds. Atheist or not. It's one of those errors, to me, that if you see one then youve seen them all.
