1982 Lincoln Penny DDR?

Ok, so, here we go again, can someone help me with this one? It appears to me to have some of the doubling for that years coin, but, I also read it was only the Zinc 82's that had it and this one is definitely a copper penny.

Ah-ha !! I finally got it uploaded, I don't understand why it's so hard to upload pics on here, but, I have a really fast wifi I'm connected to and 3/4 of the time I try to upload a photo it just does the loading thing for awhile, that stops and then nothing. Anyways, this picture should be better I think. Is there a general preference on whether you do it thumbnail or full size?

Uh oh, I think I'm about to get another lesson . Ok, I'm looking at the actual coin again, so, I don't give any bogus info, and to my untrained eye, ther MER in America with possibly a little bit on the first A as well. The S in Pluribus and maybe a tiny bit on ONE CENT, although, that might not be at all it's so little.

 

Oh, and the N in UNITED looks like something is going on there as well, anyways.

The only errors that I am familiar with on the 1982-D in on the Obverse and they are very minor. Your pictures of the Obverse are not clear enough to tell and honestly the error is so minor that no one could probably identify them with a non professional picture. here is a link so you can read about these errors for the 1982-D.

Thank you, I will be getting some better magnification and camera stuff in the next month or so since I've been doing this for a month or two now and despite all the setbacks, I haven't lost interest. Any suggestions on that topic would be welcome.

 

Oh, and one other thing, I did check a site where all the words, and possibly the date were DDO on the 82, although, now that I am saying it, I'm not absolute sure that it was the Denver mint coins or p or s.... Well, any info on that would be welcome as well.

 

Dang it, getting mixed up, I meant DDR is what I thought it was and so obviously, not the date.

 

Don't give up interest, this is a very interesting and time consuming hobby. There is a lot to learn so don't expect to do so over night so don't get discouraged.
Magnification and Photography are subjective topics and everyone has their own opinions, likes & dislikes, needs and interest. All I can recommend to you is to get a couple different handheld magnifiers, somewhere in the 5x to 30x range depending on what your interest is in collection coins. If errors are your thing then I suggest getting some type of a microscope which will help confirm if in fact you do have an error or some PMD or MD. If this is going to be a hobby for you then keep it simple. There are many, many, many types of magnifiers out there so find one that best suits your needs and always buy the highest quality that you can afford. Same goes for a camera.

To my knowledge there are 2 well known and recognized errors for the year (1982) and 1 that is not so recognized. They are listed below.

1982 LG DT BRONZE DDO - Well Recognized by TGPs, Very Noticeable error.
1982 SM DT ZINC DDR - Well Recognized by TGPs, Very Noticeable error.
1982-D - Not recognized by TGPs,Very Minor error.

The coin in the picture that you posted here is a 1982-D. The picture that you posted is not clear enough to say that it is one of these coins and it appears that the coin has heavy wear on it so even if it is it would be hard to prove.
