As mentioned above, you need to pick a prize. But I’ll let you slide as well, just this once. ;)

Future replies that do not include a prize choice will be disqualified. C’mon, it’s not like I set a real high bar for entry, here. Two rules: one, pick your prize up front, and say a word or two about your choice. Two, if you do win, post again to this thread to let us know you received the prize. That’s about all I ask.

I forgot to choose as well. Sticking with the steely if I'm drawn. Regards.

You are right, good sir. I would pick the 1836 capped bust dime because I like older American coinage. I was in a rush, heading to work, and realized I did not enter for this month..... pitiful excuse, I know, but I will not do so again!

Thank you so much for your pictures. My heart goes out for Penny. She is a beautiful girl. About 5 years ago as my wife and I were headed to Church for Christmas, we saw a kitten about the size of Penny, on the right side of the road. We were in a hurry and decided not to pick the kitten up. After church, we headed home, wondering what happened to the kitten. When we got to the place in the road where the kitten was on the way to church, we found that the kitten was on the other side of the road. We decided to take the kitten home and cleaner him up and feed him. We named him Salvadore. He states in my office in a separate building that we have. He has a bed next to my desk. I sit with him about 3-4 hours a day to keep him company while I work.

Rob, most of the time I’ll make a choice on the day I enter your contest. This month you held a carrot on a string when you included an image with additional purchases you were thinking about offering before the drawing date and my only excuse for not picking a coin. Knowing now how important it is to you, it won’t happen again! My apologies!

Oh, no worries. You’re more than welcome to pick one of the new additions at the end of the month, should you win. I always allow folks to change their mind after the drawing, if they win.

I just like to see some choices up front, simply because that’s where I get my fun when reading the entries.

(*But folks who are entering on someone else’s behalf do not need to pick a prize up front, since that eventual choice will go to the person they nominate, should their entry win.)

Entry post for the 1864 US 2 cent. '64 was the year I graduated high school and the same year I got sent overseas. I have other 1864 or 1764 coins, but not the US 2 cent. Thanks for all your giveaways.

My choice is the Judean bronze prutah, because I still don't have a ancient coin.
    Thanks @lordmarcovan!

First of all that is a pretty kitty! Mines been gone 2 years now and i still miss her like crazy!

As far as picking a coin? Um. Well i am a newbie and anything that you would donate to my collection and to my learning experience would be amazing! So if the random thing was to pick me, I would entirely leave it up to you. Something you think would be an interesting addition to a brand new newbie! Lol. I am sure that you would know what suits me. Anything that would help me to learn a lil more than i do now. Thanks for your generosity even if i dont get randomed. How very cool

I can do that, but it’s more fun if you see something there you find interesting. Even if you’re a total newbie and just want to learn more about it.

We'll see what happens if you win the drawing.

Good on you, Sal. And I’ll make this post an extra entry in the drawing, so if @Palos1390 ‘s post (#58), your post (#59), or this one (#60) come up as the lucky number when we have the drawing, she’ll be a winner. :)
