    I used to pull these out of the nickel slot machine back in the day.
    I had 100's and return them to the wild when the Great American Coin hunt was going on...

    That is very generous of you. You might not believe this, but back in the late 1960s, the Woolworth five and dime coin area was charging $13 each for circulated 1939-D nickels.

    Well they weren't necessarily 1939-D's but around that era.
    I saved them for about 10 years then decided to pass them on.

    Yeah man! Woolworth's ruled back in the day. That and Sears, Zayre and Bradlees. LOL.
