Ummm, do you have gloves-on in those photos?

... I'm fairly sure that it'll be cool to handle those examples with your bare hands

Sadly, I can't quite make-out enough detail to give you any solid leads (although I do really like the side-shot of that coin ... it reminded me a bit of a gnarly ol' Alexandrian Tet)

I'm at a loss as well. Although I recall, decades ago, that I had 'similar' examples from an uncleaned lot stated to have been found in the Jerusalem area....but like yours, were so worn and environmentally damaged that no one could say anything about them.

    Hi Lucas,

You aren't getting many responses because of the vagueness of your questions and the disorganized presentation of the coins.

If you are seeking help with identification and attribution, it is best to post one coin per thread. Be sure to include the size and weight plus anything you've been able to determine by seeing the coin in hand. Tell us what efforts you have made to identify the coin. Tell us what you think it might be. It is best to have clearly focused pictures and please crop all of the empty space around the coin.

Also, if you do heed this advice, please please please do not spam the forum with dozens of sequential requests. It pushes more interesting and informative posts off the "front page". Perhaps limit yourself to just two or three such inquiries per week.

Edited to add: Also, it will help considerably if you give your posts different/unique titles, preferably something relevant to the coin in question. If you are posting a coin for ID help, for instance, a good title might be:

"ID help; 15 mm 3.4 gm AE coin, possibly Roman"

    hi tif

This my nature "ambiguity", in fact it is a family tradition I can't give it up, thanks for your reply, goodbye for now.

Your "ambiguity" may get you IGNORED on the forum due to your ongoing posts of pictures with no comments or information as requested by other members from you... Consquently, you may not get the answers or comments that you are asking from other members.

TIF was asking you to organize your requests so that you CAN get the answers you are asking for. We are all willing to help, and many have been on this Forum for a long time helping people.

You see this sort of thing in the Error forum...it's bad there. The ignore function on this forum is pretty amazing - it's like they never exist so good or interesting threads are never pushed down.

I think everyone here can say I'm usually nice and polite (despite of being french ;)). For once I'll be rude, sorry :

After we have seen dozens and dozens of blurry pics and monosyllabic posts, I'll try to summarize :

Your family tradition prevents you from asking questions
You can't (or don't want to) add precise information
You can't provide properly focused pictures
You don't fancy posting one coin per thread
    You don't care for advice

    But you can write :

From your style and the few words you condescend to write, I seem to understand (but english isn't my mother language) you consider the community to owe you precise and elaborate answers. Am I right ?

What in hell would make forum members willing to help ?

    With my kindest regards
