It looks like it's about 30 degrees, but still a nice find.

Thanks. Is there a way to tell for sure what angle it is? Is there a tool for this? I just kind of eye balled it and thought it looked to be about half of a 90 degree angle. I definitely didn't use any type of scientific/mathematic procedure to come up with my guess.

How much does a die rotation need to be before it's potentially a find? I've heard differing degrees

Well, since you had the foresight to use two staples representing where the top of the coin should be, you can figure that 45 degrees should be half way between the top staples (90 degrees) and the staple on the right (0 degrees).

Me? I just guesstimated based on 55 years experience in drafting.

I've been told that dealers usually aren't interested in anything less than 90 degrees. However, you've got to remember that there are a lot of bidiots on FleaBay.

Ill go with your "guesstimate" then, since Im 34 and have zero experience with drafting and only 1 year in coin collecting.
