I wrote a post in the Coin Chat section of CT and still need a bit of additional wisdom from the experts. It appears that I’ve come across a Broad Stuck 2020 Lincoln cent! I think that’s the correct terminology! I’d like some opinions as to what now. If it is a mint error, should I consider sending it out to a grading service? Is this something that would draw interest from collectors? Do coins like this have any value?
Fun find! These coins aren't too expensive to buy, I've paid around $2-$7 for raw LMCs I have. With that in mind, I don't think it's worth slabbing. If you want a slabbed version, you would do better to buy one that someone paid for. Otherwise, I'd put this in a flip with the date of the find.
Nice off center cent. Here’s 3 of mine. You didn’t include a photo of the reverse so compare to mine.
Tks Paddyman! Placed in a protective sleeve and tucked away! Probably for the rest of my collecting years! Lol
