It's an idea I've had for awhile and this is just the first cut. I still want to do the circular cuts on all the coins. plus I still need some spots on the clock filled in (I do have a 'noon' toner on the way). Figured this was a different way to look at a toned coin collection.
Using the crescent to point toward the hour is a cool idea. I would think that it will take a while to find those coins with the correct orientation. I'd sure like to see it when it is finished. Chris
Bonus points if you actually put the coins on a clock face and make an actual clock out of it. I've also seen it done with off-center cents. I've wanted one for a while, but never put in the effort to find/make it. I like the idea of doing it with toners!
Very nice, but please do not tell us you are going to drill out the centerpiece for an actual working time piece.
Montage or collage? Interesting and novel set. I don't think this has been done before, which makes this set extra special.
What storm? I'm on the west coast of Florida, and we didn't even get enough wind to fly a kite. I'm wondering how many metal detectorists are out on the east coast beaches right now. Chris
