Posted already in the newest acquisitions thread, but why not start a separate topic? My normal change at the beer store is six cents. I didn't look at the change yesterday. I dug out the change along with my car keys today and there was six cents in there. Huh, where did this nickel and penny come from? Oh yeah, beer, from when I was wearing these pants. The nickel looked well-traveled, so I expected a 60s coin. Flipped it over (I can't see dates without my glasses) and saw the big S. Holy crap, a war nickel! In change! Almost on the 80th anniversary of D-day! This beautiful coin has been doing its job for almost 80 years. I don't know, post your workhouse coin or D-Day coin or something. It's worth about $1, so I'm tempted to spend it again and give someone else a thrill down the line.

$1.67, actually, by today's price. Nice find.
