Looking for the value of this cannot find anything anywhere…. I know what I purchased it for but what is the “real” value? Anyone’s thoughts or expertise would be appreciated.
Did you try researching it through NGC? It does not fall into those California fractional gold coins covered by Breen and Gillio.
I have no value given and it now states that there has been 1 graded higher …. So I’m at a loss, but thank you do you have the Breen & Gillio book?
I do have a copy of the Breen and Gillio book. I purchased it used and it was not inexpensive. I would imagine that since it is proving difficult to find a value that the price you paid could be considered the current value.
