1966 Quarter looks to have two other 6's between the 9 and 6 and 6 and 6?

    He actually posted this same quarter on another thread a few weeks ago. Still has the same questions for it. It's actually nothing in my opinion.

    I actually see the mirage or whatever it is, but can't explain what during the minting process could ever produce that type of ghost image. If the OP hadn't suggested it, I would never have seen it. So, thanks, @jeffB, for the new term. Never heard that before.

    It crops up here fairly frequently, only instead of seeing faces, people see die doubling. :)
