I just went to the bank this morning, picked up 10 rolls each of nickels and cents, and 3 rolls of dimes. One of the dime rolls was an older looking wrapper I've never seen which piqued my curiosity... Lo and behold it was FULL of silver!!!!! My first ever CRH jackpot!

    Jealous!

I need to remember to ask for customer-wrapped rolls more often...

Sweet score!! I hit a roll like that last year. It was such a thrill seeing a solid white tube of silver sliding out of the wrapper. What an adrenaline rush.. :)

This was probably rolled up by a collector/silver hoarder, seeing every single one from the roll of 50 dimes are silver, and how the latest date is 1964, the last year of silver mintage. Several of the dimes minted in the 60s are quite worn, so it probably was gathered, then rolled later then 1964.

Definitely, looks like someone was stacking junk silver like you said. I actually forgot to mention their were 51 dimes in the roll. There was a 1975 hiding in the middle of all that silver, so it must've been someone's hoard. I'm thrilled to have it either way. The highlight for me has gotta be that 40S merc

I got one like that a couple of years ago, solid roll of silver that must have been someone's stash.

Totally Awesome man! Anytime you pay $5 for $65 that rocks. Throw in some Mercs for a bonus.

I asked for rolled coin at my credit union last week and they said they don't handle them.
