Question: This reverse of the Indo-Scythian Azes (Taxila mint?) is usually called Poseidon. Is it or is there a local deity that carries a trident?
Poseidon was very much a part of the Scythian pantheon - according to Herodotus he was called Thagimasidas (Θαγιμασάδας).

I wanted to be the one who posted an Azes with Poseidon reverse but Doug beat me too it. I kind of want to buy the references for these coins because the fascinate me and I would love to learn more about the culture they came from; I'm not terribly interested in a catalog number.
Here's a photo depicting Poseidon's temple in Greece. The temple is on top of a hill with a nice view of the beautiful sea.
Only have this bronze of Gordian III, with Poseidon naked and standing left. The god of the sea is holding trident with left hand, and a dolphin with his right hand. B in lower right field of reverse. Struck in Berytus. Cop 126.
