It isn't as much as I can see. The second edge appearing part likely, but it is probably a stain or toning of something circular ( such as a coin ) lying on it for a long time. I see most in the beverage holder that has a soda and coins under it. Such as my pickup. Jim
Re-phrasing your question… “…is this coin the result of a doubled die?…” because the die that made the coin had the design doubled on it when it was created. But the answer was already given above…sadly, it is just a stain on the coin. …imo…Spark
Before looking for Doubled Die varieties you need to understand what they are and what to look for. Here is a magnificent website to check out https://doubleddie.com/58222.html
I second Ed’s motion. What I learned, eventually, that knowing how the different classes of doubling are created allowed me to answer most of my own questions. You’ll still have questions, but it’s to be expected. Even the regulars here are learning new stuff all the time. We have an interesting and expanding hobby. Good luck!!
To add on to what paddyman posted, I suggest that everyone in doubt should first reference one of the many Wexler's research papers. I really use this one on "worthless doubling", with further links at the bottom, and all along the left side. You'll have a full library right at your fingertips https://doubleddie.com/144801.html
