Metal Detecting - Back in NYC - 2 US Silver & 11 Wheat Cents

Hello everyone,
I did my first metal detecting trip since returning from Rock Hill South Carolina where I participated in a Metal Detecting event.
I detected Prospect Park in Brooklyn for about 4 hours

Today I want to share the following finds..

Silver War Nickel - 1944 P


Silver Roosevelt 10C


11 Wheat Cents


Everything


Copper plated zinc cents - Damaged
I actually haven't included these damaged Cents in many of my past threads. I decided to show you how bad they can be.

What's the washer like object in the "everything" picture? Does it have any lettering?

 

Dang, those zinc cents are pretty ugly.

 

I’m pleased to hear your trip to South Carolina was a good one. Now your back in NYC finding more treasures. Nice silver finds too. Those zinc cents are nasty looking but I have a few that all worse. I know the story on mine and it’s amazing how fast they will deteriorate given the tight environment.

 

When I detected it I thought that it could be a foreign coin or some cool token. But it's just a normal washer with some adhesive on the surface

 

Well, they can’t all be treasures, but the thrill of hearing that beep has to be the same.
