    Got this lightly toned '46-S Roosie for melt price or slightly less, in a recent bulk silver lot I bought from a friend.

    (Photos were some of my first practice shots with the new camera setup.)

    Its toned so nicely......I thought it was copper.....lol :)

    Ahhh! They are out there.

    Sometime in the next month I plan on doing a post with multiple toned SBA's.

    ...Nickels can have nice colors too :)

    I think the metallic composition is identical Liberty head Nickel/ SBA - both are 75% copper and 25% nickel, however the SBA has a pure copper core. Not sure if that matters...
