Searching Halves today I found a Kennedy half dollar magician's coin and decided to open it, found this inside:

Somebody went to a bit of effort to machine a Mexican coin to fit inside, I wonder why?

Reminds me of those Soviet spy coins, in which they'd conceal information inside a hollow nickel.

They smuggle all kinds of stuff from Mexico to the US, don't they!

Why? Because it's a Magician's coin. It changes from USA to MEXICA and that's called MAGIC.

Easy. It's called the Scotch and soda coin trick. Google it!

Yet it seems thousands of people do it everyday. I hardly call it magic though

I've found a number of these. Usually that Mexican coin, sometimes a UK penny.
