I was scrolling through this thread today and I just wanted to address the quoted statements.

...in 9 weeks, those things will be all over the neighborhood, pooping, picking, stabbing, clawing, etc., and significantly lowering the bug population. the Straw and feed cost will, in about 12-214 weeks, have done enough damage to the family budget, that it will be painfully obvious that the recoupment must include facing the realization that they will now become meat birds for a few family dinners.

 

lol! Well you can’t tell them anything! They have three young kids and that’s enough these days. They will have to see on their own. If mom and dad always do it for them, not learning anything. Hawks are in the city too I tell them. We got the coop for a reason but again, they will learn. They make more stress for themselves. lol! Their lives are too busy for chickens. And Pammy is not sitting for chickens lol! Nope!

 

Been a while.. No need to complain lol! Looking through some rolls my hubby and son got me. I sure wish I could visit that vault lol! Some fun finds and some wheats in this box.
