It is an interesting coin, but in my view, with a few exceptions (which are mostly in museums or in the private collections of millionaires or billionaires, so for the most part they aren't really relevant (in regards to buying them) to us on this forum), coins shouldn't cost 10000 EUR or more, and this coin in my view isn't anywhere near being one of those exceptions, so even if I won the lottery jackpot, I wouldn't put in a bid for it.

How does one know a coin is “unique”?

I mean, clearly, the mint that struck the coin did not make one piece and then destroy the dies.

Exceedingly rare, ok. But, unique?
