2001 D Penny - Lamination crack

    Here is a photo of what I assume is a lamination crack going from Lincoln's lapel on up and through his earlobe. Cool but from I have read, not worth much. I would appreciate comments on this

    It looks more like a scratch to me

    That’s a scratch. If you look closely you can see pieces of metal on both sides. A die crack does not look the same, it’s raised. A lamination is totally different than a crack.

    Definitely a scratch! I see displaced metal as noted above.
