GTG 1858 1/2 dime

    I'm quite happy with this one.. a little dark but that doesn't stop me often lol...
    wish NGC or the sellers pics were just a little better... specificly on the date...
    I'm seeing suggestions of a FS302 RPD/Inverted Date.. but can't be sure lol

    So what do you guys think of this one :D

    I'll go with VF as well. This is an image of what the date should look like.

    You have a nice coin, a bit difficult to estimate the date accurately, but I will guess EF40-EF45.

    The 'Inverted Date' can usually be seen quite clearly, even on low grade examples.
    I am not seeing it on yours, but that is maybe due to the picture.
    Also, I believe they all have clashing (or whatever it is called) at the top of the reverse and around part of the wreath.

    Don't worry, I was even more off! And the majority of us guessed something in the VF range.

    It's harder to grade original, undipped pieces. The first set of photos made it look very dull. I was thinking EF. Then second shows luster in the protected areas on the stars and letters.

    This is a very solid, MS-65, CAC.
