Nice! That's only the second round I've seen with a similar reverse. Here is the one I picked up. Not sure if I've posted it before. It's reminiscent of an HK-870 SC$1. The die work on the reverse is close, but different.

My understanding is that Rocky Mountain Coin had these silver rounds struck in limited numbers back in the 1980's. The metal detector club looks like they used the same minting outfit.

RMC still produces it's own medals. I saw a few in their case last time I was in there. I will take a look and see if it is the same dies or not.

Other than the one above, there is only one other round on TokenCatalog by RMC - a copper "Good For" round. Different reverse altogether.

I bought this round when I was in high school. I was awed by the obverse engraving, the detail and features in the face of Chief Iliniwek, and the difficult to photograph flow lines / luster in the proof-like mirror fields.

Sure is quiet in this thread. :(

Well I just picked up a Vietnam club token. I already have a 5 and 25c piece but added this anyway:

Gunslingers Inn/ 118th Aviation Company aka Assualt Helicopter Company. 5c, Brass, 4.5 grams, 21mm, C/A. They were at the Bailey Compound in Bien Hoa. They were nick named the Thunderbirds. They also have quite a web site if anyone is interested:

Needless to say, I never received one of these when I was in school, but the kids that got them would trade them away for a little of grandma's corn squeezings . . . . . .

I have one of the NECA medals. The other part of CONECA is CONE--Collectors OF Numismatic Errors who merged with NECA to form CONECA. I don't know if CONE ever issued a medal. I've never been able to fine one. :(

This Chinese Zodiac medal appears to be from China, but who knows? Non magnetic, looks like brass, 33.95 grams, 50mm D. Snake on left image, words meaning China at bottom, I do not know what all the other words say. Right hand image word "Fou" meaning lucky or prosperous in center, 12 animals of zodiac around.
