Got a new camera microscope for my birthday, seems to be higher quality than my previous one. Took a few pictures to show some die diagnostics on a few coins. 1876 CC Dime F-108 DDR 1842 Seated Liberty Dollar OC-7. Obverse 6a, Reverse Ba. Misplaced 2 on obverse. 1884 S Morgan Dollar. VAM 8. Tops of 18 in denticles, date set further right, S set left. Late stage die with gouge at neck. Still playing with it but so far I like what it can do.
Last year I also ordered a microscope Kamera with Amazon - but I send it back after bad results. I am positive surprised about your pictures - I find not bad. No… they are good. Gratulation. What Microscope Kamera was it? Have you a link?
Nice 1884S. What grade would you think it would get? AU53? It's got a tiny rim ding on the reverse, can't tell if it's been wiped though. No way to read a grader's mind on those things.
The full shot pics are from my old camera. I havent re-shot them yet with my DSLR. Still figuring that one out. Only the close ups are from the microscope.
It just says it is a DM9 digital micrscope with a 7 inch display. Obvious chinese made from amazon. I didn't buy it myself, but it seems pretty good.
I have it as a 53-55. I don't think it has been wiped. Still shows some luster. Probably the best example of an 84 S I will ever own.
