1942 Jefferson nickel experimental planchet

    Need help with this one too please help me I found some Jefferson nickels that were made on experimental planchts I don't know if this is one of them but this thing is weird it's got all these like lines in it and it's dug all the way down it looks black I don't think it's silver so cuz it doesn't sound like it but it definitely ain't copper I don't know what this thing is can you help me out thank you

    It's a normal cupronickel planchet. Not experimental. The lines are just a bit of a faulty mix of the metals.
