I hate to post this one, but it’s been 4 days since the last entry. I found this diseased, but otherwise nice IHC sitting in a junk coin bowl in an antique store.
Used ta be in a fine details holder 'cause a those very minor, very old file marks. Now it's raw. Much more fun.....
Maybe next time we do this thread, we could limit it to one date every 24 hours. Most of us have lives and can't post the next date 20 minutes later.
I guess I don't have "have a life." I have spent the day writing an article for "FUN Topics." You do realize that limiting this to one coin every 24 hours would work out to over 230 days. People might get bored by then.
I sent my two best 2-cent pieces (1865) out for grading, so if I get to post their earlier pictures, I will. Both are fancy 5, one is RPD (FS-1302) and the other... well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it straight grades! If it does, I'll be ecstatic, especially if it comes back graded RD. But for as much as I look, I have a really hard time finding 2-cent pieces past 1865. How long ago did you get yours?
Don't pass 1865! Not for 15 business days!! (I splurged for the PCGS express because I'm an impatient SOB) But I'd absolutely LOVE to be able to showcase my 2C if if straight grades with True View pics
That depends on the grade(s), honestly. I put pictures up a little while ago but my photography skills are... left wanting. The RPD will [should] straight grade, but the other one is a coin of beauty. I'll show again that one again in short enough time, but you can sift through my posts to find the post from earlier if'n you've got the feeling to. But there's a questionable mark on the reverse that makes me doubt a problem-free coin.
I'm stuck on 67. I had 68 and 9 that were screamers. But can't find images of anything 67. I don't know what I lost I'm my phone transfer tho
I don't have an 1867 anything now. Over the years, I had a cent when I still had my Indian Cent set and a two cent piece, but both are now in other hands.
