Just curious I have some silver coins in a safe along with some documents. The documents have been placed into a fiberglass silicon impregnated fireproof bag. Just curious if any one has done this and if it toned the coins? I do not want the coins to tone but want some added protection for the documents.

I would not store the coins with either the fiberglass or the documents. I can't say if the fiberglass will off gas had harm the coins as I've no experience with it but I wouldn't want to try. I do know that the paper documents will off gas and can harm the coins. My advice: find separate storage for each. JMO.
    Happy collecting Tater!

Interested in knowing more about the fiberglass silicon impregnated fireproof bag.
I think Fiberglass and Silicon are both flammable and toxic when burning.
I keep documents in a cheap concrete lined sentry safe ( cough cough Lockbox) inside of a larger safe.
    Redundancy is a thing :p

These are most likely the same type of bags we use in the radio control aircraft hobby. They are called Lipo bags and they are used to safely store lipo batteries that we use to power model aircraft electrical components and system(s) onboard the aircraft. Lipo batteries can be very dangerous and are known to self-ignite if damaged from incorrect usage, crash or dropped/punctured. They also have a tendency to self-ignite during the charging cycle. For this reason, many use what is called a lipo bag. The batteries are put in the bags during storage, transportation, and charging. I personally use a 50 Cal ammo can instead. It's air-tight, locked shut and will contain the flames if a battery were to self-ignite during storage or transportation.

This is what I found when googling it:

Lipo bags are made of fire-resistant materials to contain the fire from LiPo batteries. The bag has its inner lining made of fire retardant fiberglass material which contains and reduces fires in case of a LiPo battery failure.
