I just scored a 1913 of this same design, though yours has more detail on the eagles wing.

I’d say you did well if you laid down 12 hundred dollar bills and the slab reads AU55.

I am sorry, I have been having trouble with my old laptop. This one is raw. And definitely has some circulation.
Let's see if this one posts.

One of my favorite coins, yet to get one. Saw a couple of real nice looking raw Eagles the other week, I think they were $1250 before gold price jumped. Should have bought a couple.

The $10 Indians definitely carry a big premium, 20-25% from what I've seen over libs or doubles.

    I'm guessing 66.

Ah, I see it now, head feathers look a little soft.

I guess I'm so enamored with this design I thought it was MS, could be still if a weaker strike?

I guess I had no idea these Eagles were still minted in 1932!

@Pickin and Grinin I'm not sure how to evaluate how you did. If you paid $3k, you didn't do very well. If you paid $800, you did spectacular.

    I'm seeing it as AU55-58.
As such, I'd say you did well at $1,300.
If you paid $1,600 you didn't do as well.

Either way, I'd happily add it to my collection.

I have it under the lens, I gave a modest price lower than CPG 45. I had been looking for the right piece in AU without the major premium.

I can only hope I can find one for myself as nice (hopefully in the not too distant future) Absolutely beautiful

I think they show the wear pretty well.

Here's the example I recently won at GC. Notice anything interesting?

A friend of ours long ago had a parrot who was toilet-trained. He'd have the bird perched on his forearm, hold it over a trash can, say "Go bingo!", and the bird would poop into the trash can.

So now you understand why I'm laughing uncontrollably.

The older Lady's are ok. I looked at a few. They just don't have that same flair that the Indians do.
