I was considering purchasing this token, but the dark splotches on the obverse have my worried. It is just a stain, or is it some kind of evil substance trying to destroy a piece of numismatic history? In case your wondering its composition is brass.

    Peach juice stains?

Fruit juice isn't out of the realm of possibilities. This token was for a berry farm, so blackberry stains maybe?

I was being serious. I thought it might have been from a peach orchard or some such.

It could literally be almost anything, but in the end it's one thing - corrosion.
