1767 8 Reals another question!

The Mexico mint mark OM appears to have an unusual mark.

I am confident this is not a fake/copy due to its provenance, but I wanted to raise it here to see some opinions.

Thoughts?

Cracked dies usually don't affect the value of coins, much. For die specialists, it can be important.
