I think this year Pam I am getting both Peaches/Plums the blooms are quite plentiful thus far and even a nectarine has started to appear..a first. The orange tree to which I get 100/150 oranges every year lost all it's leaves in that cold snap leaves no blooms yet maybe none or little this year.;)

Do all fruit trees act like apples?
When My Mom doesn't see much fruit or any and they should be blooming. She takes a bat and beats on the trunk. It shocks them and they will fruit, not only fruit but more than she could ever use.

I do not like the writing All over clothing as if it’s camouflage. They keep on, it will be Chinese. Oops!

Some trees like pears need a companion tree to pollinate to bear fruit. I don't really understand that, but it's true.

When we were in TN, the deer would have a ball with the pears. lol! I’m not too familiar with fruit trees.

I definitely get it. I get the best fruit when I have tall Lettuce and cilantro. The flowers bring the bees, and then the bees pollinate all the flowers on my peppers and tomatoes.

The part I don't understand, is that trees and fruit/vegetables have both sexes necessary to pollinate. Maybe they need genetic diversity? I dunno.

If we were all Asexual, then I doubt we would be gawking at pretty coins all day. We are gonna have to leave that one to the bees.

I kid you not one year we had a Rose bush in a pot right next to the orange tree and it cross pollinated to the rose flower and a small orange developed the size of a thumb.Weird.
