I have decided that if I am going to buy one of them, it will be the second one (the Shah Jahan I one), but since they still haven't sent me the price, I haven't decided whether I am going to buy it or not.

Their prices are 3900 GBP for the Shah Jahan I one and 1750 GBP for the Aurangzeb one, obviously I will buy neither.

It has both black/dirt and red/copper spots, so I am not interested in buying it.

They told me they will try to find the Mughal Gold Mohurs of Shah Jahan I and Aurangzeb in the condition I want them to be in, also that other interesting gold coins will be added to their shop soon.

Do you receive auction catalogues from Baldwin's? Their Islamic Coin Auction is 13 days away and there is still zero information on their website about what coins will be sold at the auction!

I have looked at them, and the Zand Gold 1/4 Mohur of Karim Khan Zand is the only gold coin at the auction for which I might put in a bid for.

After my last purchase, I have at least 1 gold coin from 21 of the last 25 centuries:), I still need gold coins from the 4th century BCE, 3rd century BCE, 2nd century BCE and 3rd century CE.

Stephen Album will have another auction at the beginning of April, and once again there is nothing interesting at the auction.

I received an unpleasant surprise today, the coins I won at the Leu Numismatik auction arrived in Zagreb today, but before I get them I have to pay 25% VAT + a fee to FedEx for handling the customs paperwork:rolleyes:, and all this because in 1992 the Swiss voted at a referendum against becoming a part of the European Economic Area, needless to say I will think very carefully about taking part in any future Swiss coin auctions.

The second auction should start in a little over an hour, and since the coin I am bidding for is lot 27, it shouldn't take long for me to find out if I have won the coin or not.
