Although of course I will most likely have to spread out buying the most expensive ones over several years:D...

Even though the Carthaginian one is on my wish list, it isn't in the category of the gold coins I would be disappointed if I never managed to buy one, it is in the same category as the Duchy of Milan Ducat, if I find one in good condition for a reasonable price and buy it, nice, if I don't, I won't lose any sleep over it.

As for the three other ones, I expect them to sooner or later appear in good enough condition for less than my 7000 EUR maximum.

    That one is mucho dinaros!

I bid on one from Goldberg auction about 2017. It was a MS "Tiger Slayer" type from Kumaragupta. I doubt if he ever went after "tigers" in real life!

Something strange happened just now, I wanted to buy another Empire of the Romans Gold Solidus from a German numismatics company, and when I went to the checkout, Croatia wasn't selectable under "country"! I have e-mailed them about this, Croatia is the only EU country which isn't selectable.

That is utterly amazing! Esp. since Germans like Croatians:)
Not the same how we feel about Russians.

Thanks for that. However/ I have that one in MS. Got it from NFA in 1991. Numismatic Fine Arts was a really great auction house in Beverly Hills. They only dealt in highest quality rare ancient coinage. They later ended up in trouble when a few of their coins were deemed fake. All were in 400-600K range back then. I still need the Isaac II histamenon nomisma! I have 60 Byzantine AV coins!

Thats a good price! Leo I AV Solidi are common/ I bought one in NGC CH-MS 5/5 5/5 for 1600US in 2021 from Hard Assets. Turned out that same coin went for 3500 UK Pounds/ Roma auction year before. I think they made a mistake in selling it so cheap.;)

So, like me, you don't consider the "flan flaw" to be an issue?
