You know I get stuff from Europe in less than 5 business days sometimes. Shouldn't take that much longer from Israel

I think they have to go through an export paperwork process that takes a little time. I bought a couple coins from a vcoins dealer in Isreal and it did take a couple weeks longer. No big deal, seller made it very clear that this was the case before I purchased, and overall was a fine buying experience.

    Hi Smojo,
The first time I ordered some coins from my dealer in Israel it was in June and I didn't receive them until the first part of August. It was at least five weeks. Part of the hold-up was a result of the dealer needing to obtain an export license from the Israel Antiquities Authority. That process can take up to 2 weeks. Then it seems that there could be another delay at U.S. Customs. The second time I ordered from my dealer I received my order in only 3 weeks. I'm not complaining because I really like having a copy of the signed and sealed Israel Antiquities Authority export license for proof of provenance.

I can agree with that. I know have had some antiquities though not coins come from Israel but its been quite some time ago & a lot has changed since then. Ive recently had coins delivered from Germany & Norway and was completely shocked in how fast they were delivered. Its a different region so I can see the difference.
